Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Start with cold liquids

Chill 500 ml apple juice and 500 ml sparkling water. Keep the sparkling-water bottle closed until mixing so it retains its bubbles.

  2. Prepare the glasses

Wash the lemon and mint. Cut four thin lemon slices, removing seeds, and divide the mint leaves and ice cubes between four glasses.

  3. Combine equal amounts of juice and water

Pour the apple juice into a jug. Slowly add the sparkling water down the inside of the jug to reduce foaming. Stir gently once; do not shake or blend.

    The drink remains visibly fizzy.

  4. Pour into the prepared glasses

Pour the mixture evenly over the ice in the four glasses. Add one lemon slice to each glass.

  5. Serve while sparkling

Serve immediately while cold and fizzy. No cooking or resting is required. Mix only what you plan to drink because the bubbles gradually escape.
